leaf="">昔日，目犍连尊者，以天眼通见母亲堕饿鬼道，瘦得皮骨相连、肚大喉细，日夜遭受饥渴之苦。以钵盛饭，往饷其母。然而饭食未到口，皆已变为火炭。目犍连无法救度母亲，请示佛陀。佛陀言，因其母生前业力深重，须藉十方僧众的功德力，于七月十五日，众僧结夏安居修业圆满日，奉盂兰盆，敬设百味饮食、床敷卧具，供养三宝，仗十方诸佛及众僧之不可思议功德，方得解脱。目犍连为报答母亲生养之恩，以慈孝之心，依佛陀慈示奉行，其母终得以解除倒悬之苦，脱离六道恶趣。</span></span></p><p><span
