border-box;">药师佛，梵名Bhaisajyaguru，音译作鞞杀社窶噜，又称药师琉璃光如来、大医王佛、医王善逝、消灾延寿药师佛，为东方净琉璃世界之教主。此佛于过去行菩萨道时，曾发十二大愿，愿为众生解除疾苦，使具足诸根，导入解脱，故依此愿而成佛，住净琉璃世界，其国土庄严如极乐国。《药师琉璃光如来本愿功德经》中还称：“令诸众生所愿皆遂，尤愿众生诸根完具，疾病消除，解脱厄难，因而有消灾延寿药师佛之称。”值此药师佛圣诞之期，复有一众善信者，择此日而往，礼佛敬香。诚望药师佛展宏慈，祛灾厄于无形，保平安以长伴。期冀佛恩普降，增福慧，延寿命，使岁月宁谧，流年安暖。</p></section><p border-box;">《药师琉璃光如来本愿功德经》中说：“东方过娑婆世界十恒河沙佛土之外，有佛土名为净琉璃，其佛号为药师琉璃光如来。”药师佛以日光菩萨与月光菩萨为二大胁侍，化导救济有情众生，得到究竟安乐的境界。药师琉璃光如来的清净琉璃光明炽燃，是成就世间光明的清净，亦是成就出世间光明的清净，所以他的净土世界是净琉璃光所成的世界。东方净琉璃光世界的众多菩萨是由二位大菩萨所领导，一位是日光遍照菩萨，一位是月光遍照菩萨。这两位菩萨将于药师佛涅槃后，依次递补佛的位置。递补后的名号仍然称药师琉璃光如来。</p></section><p
