净土法门的「打佛七」，应该是依据《阿弥陀经》的「若有善男子善女人，闻说阿弥陀佛，执持名号，若一日、若二日、若三日、若四日、若五日、若六日、若七日，一心不乱，其人临命终时，阿弥陀佛，与诸圣众，现在其前。是人终时，心不颠倒，即得往生阿弥陀佛极乐国土。」的经文而设。《观无量寿佛经》中也有「一日乃至七日，即得往生」的经文。</span><br/></p><p style="font-size: 22px;"><span style="font-family: 楷体;font-size: 24px;"> 佛七，旨在专一念阿弥陀佛之名号，为期七昶日之修持法会，贵在至诚、虔诚，专其心、摄其意，力图通过在短期内放下万缘、收摄身心，专精念佛而达到一心不乱故为精进。参加佛七的专修善信在七永日之内，放下其他一切作务，不假他想。通过专精念佛，令心中佛号历历分明、不昏不散。务使二六时中，行住坐卧，洪名不断，心佛不离。乃至最终达到心佛一如，一心不乱。圆满七日，以大回向结束。参加佛七的善信，通过如此七永日用功，上者力求实证一心不乱；其余者亦能发起决定往生信愿心，积累专修念佛体验，并把佛七中的用功精神延续于日常念佛中，达到真信、切愿、力行的高度统一，从而为学佛奠定福慧资粮；为往生极乐世界奠定坚实基础。</span></p><p
