leaf="">帝释天于佛教中之地位，与梵天同为佛教之护法神！斋天又名供天，是寺院中每年例行佛事，也有斋主以供天祈福。斋天是隋代天台宗智者大师依《金光明经》制定《金光明仟法》时开始的。</span></p><p style="text-indent: 2.25em;white-space: normal;"><span leaf="">帝释天作为护法神，他的主要职责是保护佛陀、佛法和出家人。如佛陀在树下修道时，恶魔进攻扰其禅思，帝释即吹响贝螺，保护佛陀；佛陀涅槃时，帝释天又显身，念诵颂诗；他还保护佛陀的舍利。有关帝释天的佛教故事常常出现在佛教艺术作品当中，其中帝释天往往手持宝盖，与大梵天随侍在释迦牟尼佛的左右。</span></p><p style="text-indent: 2.25em;white-space: normal;"><span leaf="">帝释天于每半月斋日下令四天王、太子、侍者等，探察天下万民之善恶邪正，若闻世间众生恶多，不孝父母，不敬师长，不修斋戒，不施贫乏，则愁诸天众减损，阿修罗众增益。若闻多孝顺父母，敬事师长，勤修斋戒，布施贫乏，则皆大欢喜诸天众增益，阿修罗众减损。又若多修德精进不怠者，则敕伺命增寿益算，反之，则不复营护之，或夺其命。</span></p></section></section></section></section></section><section
