border-box;">释迦牟尼佛原是古印度迦毗罗卫国净饭王之子，姓乔达摩，名悉达多。释迦牟尼意译“能仁寂默”，也是“释迦族的圣人”之意。悉达多年十九岁时欲求出家，而自念言：“当复何遇？”，即于四门游观，见四等事，心有悲喜，而作思惟：“此老病死，终可厌离。”于是夜子时，有一天人名曰净居，于窗牖中叉手白悉达多言：“出家时至，可去矣！”悉达多闻已心生欢喜，即逾城而去，于檀特山中修道，此日正是二月初八，后世遂以二月初八为释迦牟尼佛出家日。</p></section><section
