16px;">斋天又名供天，是佛教寺院中每年岁朝佛事，也有功德主以供天祈福。斋天是隋代天台宗智者大师依《金光明经》制定《金光明仟法》时开始的。大乘佛教认为，佛教徒虽不归依诸天，但应恭敬礼拜诸天，原因是诸天能归命佛陀、护佑正法、积善行德。据《金光明经》载，诸天于金光明会上，一一于佛前发菩提心，并亲承如来法敕，常祐护受持、读诵、书写金光明经者。因诸天秉持法王嘱累，巡行人间，以慈心辅翼有德，奖善罚恶，于是世人营建供佛斋天法会，诵经礼忏，施设净食，以供养十方三宝、护世诸天及其随从。为了表示自己最高的诚心与敬意，应设坛供养诸天。</span></p></section><section
