1px;">观音菩萨，又称观自在，乃佛教四大菩萨之一。其相慈悲庄严，手持净瓶杨柳，遍洒甘露；其智深广无边，寻声救苦，大悲为体。菩萨不仅是西方极乐世界阿弥陀佛座下上首，更与大势至菩萨同为胁侍，共称“西方三圣”，接引众生归向净土。</span></span></p><p style="white-space: normal;margin: 0px 0px 24px;padding: 1px;">观世音菩萨久远劫前已成佛果，号“正法明如来”，以大悲愿力，倒驾慈航，示现菩萨之身，辅弼弥陀，接引众生。然菩萨摄受此方众生，别有殊胜因缘。《楞严经》中，观世音菩萨自述因地修行法门，乃从耳根入手，反闻闻自性，不随声尘流转，由此“入流亡所”，证得耳根圆通。以能闻之性，契合不生灭理，获二殊胜：一者，上与十方诸佛同一慈力；二者，下与六道众生同一悲仰。以此圆通之力，菩萨能观世间音声，遍救一切苦难，是故号曰“观世音”。</span></span></p></section></section><p 1px;">六月十九观世音菩萨成道日来源于菩萨隋代时在南五台的应现。隋朝仁寿年间，观音菩萨在西安城南的南五台山化现为比丘，降伏毒龙、救护百姓的事迹。当时南五台山有一条岁久成妖的毒龙，化身道士，以“服之升天”的丹药诱骗长安百姓，实则将他们吞食。一位比丘在山顶结庵修行，以妙智力降伏毒龙，使其清凉安住，百姓因此得救。朝廷感念其功，在峰顶建寺。次年六月十九，比丘安详示寂，荼毗时天地变色、瑞相纷呈——东峰现金桥、天众散花，南台百宝璀璨，光影中现出菩萨庄严宝相。至此，众人才知道那比丘是观音菩萨示现。</span></span></p><p 1px;">从那以后，每到六月十九，百姓们都不远百里，陟险登危，扶老携幼，以清净心前来朝礼圣迹，香会前后持续一个多月。印光大师在编写《普陀山志》时，便将记载了这段菩萨示迹的碑文录入山志，并识之曰：</span><span textstyle="" style="letter-spacing: 1px;color: rgb(64, 118, 0);font-weight: 1px;">也有种说法认为观世音菩萨成道日来源于妙善公主的故事。传说妙庄国王三公主妙善，自幼善良仁慈，发愿修行，不顾国王反对，发愿修行，舍身救父。据记载，妙善公主于农历六月十九日功行圆满，证得菩提，现千手千眼观世音之相，于是后人便把这一天定为观世音菩萨成道日。千手护持众生，千眼遍观世间，以此彰显菩萨不舍一人的宏深誓愿。</span></span></p></section></section><p
