leaf="">隋朝仁寿年间（601—604），南五台山（位于西安城南七十里）上有一条毒龙，变化成道人，在京城卖丹药，称服用后可以得道升天。其实是使用妖术，将服药之人，携带回山中的洞里吞食。有一天，来了一位僧人，在峰顶搭建草庐。后用佛法，降服毒龙，使人民免受危害。此事传到朝廷，因为这位比丘于国有功、于民有惠，遂在峰顶建了一座寺院作为酬答。当地僧俗钦慕比丘道风，一时间纷纷割世俗爱网而归真际，弃富贵荣华而入佛门。就在建寺第二年的六月十九日，这位比丘忽然安详入灭，东面山峰上出现金桥，排列天仙，音乐响彻云霄，烟云之间，观世音菩萨显现庄严法相。大家才知道僧人是观世音菩萨的化身，便把这天奉为观世音菩萨成道的日子，久之便形成传统，一直到今天。</span></span></p></section><section
